I masked the strip using low tack tape, blended three ink colours into it and then stamped the silhouettes using the Misti to help make sure I got good coverage - a simple one layer card. The rider was a last minute addition and I’m still not sure I didn’t prefer it just with the landscape!
Stamps:
Way Out West and Back in the Saddle (both Waltzingmouse Stamps, no longer with us)
Paper:
Bristol board
Ink:
Versafine by Tsukineko (Onyx Black)
Tim Holtz Distress ink by Ranger (Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Barn Door)
Other:
Misti
Corner Chomper
Thanks for stopping by!
I love your card. The colors are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe rider is a good addition! I am personally happy with the uptick lately with western themes. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is great. Clean, bold, balanced with with the white.

I'm so glad that I challenged you to finally use your great landscape stamp ;-). Your card turned out awesome!
ReplyDeleteStunning. The silhouettes against the background are fabulous. x
ReplyDeleteIt's great when a stamp set finally gets an airing isn't it? Same thing happened with me on this challenge. Great scene of the wild west! Shabneez x
